Apple Unveils M6 MacBook Pro
Apple has officially introduced the updated 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the next-generation M6 processor. The announcement marks the latest refresh of the company portable professional computer lineup, focusing on expanded energy efficiency and improved hardware acceleration for artificial intelligence tasks. According to Apple, the new laptop is scheduled to become available for pre-order immediately, with customer deliveries and retail store shipments beginning on November 6.

The central upgrade is the M6 system on chip, manufactured with second-generation three-nanometer process technology, which integrates a twelve-core central processor alongside a twelve-core graphics processor. Apple states that the configuration provides up to thirty percent faster graphics processing compared to the prior generation. In addition, machine learning workloads benefit from dedicated Neural Accelerators embedded directly into each graphics core, working in tandem with an updated sixteen-core Neural Engine to run local artificial intelligence models and Apple Intelligence features with higher throughput.
Battery Life and Hardware Specifications

Power consumption remains a key focus of the updated architecture. Apple reports that the 14-inch MacBook Pro achieves up to 24 hours of battery life during video playback, representing the longest operational duration ever recorded on a Mac notebook. The enclosure retains the previous premium unibody industrial design, measuring 0.61 inches in thickness while housing a Liquid Retina XDR screen capable of reaching 1,600 nits of peak brightness for high dynamic range content. Customers can also configure the panel with advanced nano-texture display glass to minimize glare and reflections in bright professional working environments.
External connectivity has also been revised with comprehensive support for Wi-Fi 7 wireless networking and Bluetooth 6. The standard configuration includes three Thunderbolt ports, an HDMI output, an SDXC card slot, a high-impedance headphone jack, and a MagSafe 3 charging port. Pricing for the 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at 1,999 dollars in the United States and 2,299 euros in Europe for the base configuration featuring 16 gigabytes of unified memory and 512 gigabytes of storage. Full specifications and configuration options are detailed in the official announcement on the Apple Newsroom.
