Fatal Fury City of the Wolves launches on Nintendo Switch 2

SNK released Fatal Fury City of the Wolves for Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and published a launch trailer alongside the release.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports Handheld, Tabletop, and TV modes. It features a unique art style, the new REV battle system, and a single-player RPG mode called EOST MODE.

Two editions are available. The Standard Edition includes only the base game. The Starter Edition includes Season Passes 1 through 3.

Pricing for digital versions is 2,970 yen for the Standard Edition and 3,960 yen for the Starter Edition, tax included. A physical Starter Edition costs 4,950 yen, tax included.

The physical Starter Edition is scheduled for release on Thursday, January 21, 2027. It includes the main game, Season Passes 1 through 3, and the Mai Shiranui Classic Costume as an early purchase bonus.

A limited-quantity Special Edition includes a dedicated storage box, a B6-sized acrylic panel, and a scarf towel. It costs 9,900 yen, tax included.

Season Pass 1 features Ken and Chun-Li. Season Pass 2 features Kenshiro. Season Pass 3 features collaboration characters such as Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji.

The game supports cross-platform matches and online matches using the rollback method. Smart Style lets players unleash special moves and combos with a single button, while traditional technical controls remain available.
